Together we will: Learn – Love – Serve – Grow
Who We Are
New Life Christian Reformed Church has been investing in the Highland community since 1953. As you might have guessed from our name, our congregation is a member of the Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA), a denomination that traces its roots back to the Protestant Reformation of the 16th century and then even further back to the New Testament Church founded by Jesus Christ.
What We Believe
We are a biblically centered church that professes its faith with the help of the ancient creeds and Reformed confessions.
We affirm three creeds—the Apostles Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed—as faithful summarizes of the Christian faith. These creeds connect us to the earliest doctrines of the Trinity and the person of Christ. In addition to the creeds, we also affirm three confessions—the Belgic Confession, the Heidelberg Catechism, and the Canons of Dort—as historic Reformed expressions of the Christian faith, whose doctrines fully agree with the Word of God.
How You Can Get Involved
Although we are glad that you are looking at our website, the best way to really get to know us is by joining us for worship on Sundays at 9:30AM. Nursery is provided during worship for children 0-3 years old. Our pastor and elders would be more than happy to answer any questions you might have during our church’s fellowship time that takes place immediately after the service.
In addition to our Sunday worship, our congregation has several Bible studies taught by seasoned teachers who can help you and your family to grow in your knowledge of the Bible. During the school year, we provide Sunday School for children pre-school through twelfth grade. Finally, check out our G.E.M.S club, a Christian club designed specifically for girls to help them to “act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God” (Micah 6:8).
Thanks again for taking the time to check out our church! We look forward to seeing you soon!
